Will this be another budget Android phone?
Last year, the British retailer Tesco entered the tablet market with style, as Their £119 Hudl slate sold very good, even better than they were expecting. And what do you do in this case? Well, launch a smartphone too.
According to the company’s CEO, Mr. Philip Clarke, they’re planning to release a phone, which will keep the Hudl branding, but he didn’t told anything about the specs or the price. Still, there are some reports claiming that it’s going to run on Android and we’re going to deal with some serious specs, comparable to the Samsung Galaxy S5.
Personally, I think this comparison is just a marketing strategy, made in order to create some hype, as the phone will most likely be sold at a pretty low price. But you never know what surprises they’re preparing us…
