Such display, very QHD, wow.
After a lot of fuzz was created around it, the Chinese company Oppo finally launched their flagship for 2014, Find 7. Even though we’re talking about a phone made by a Chinese manufacturer and some people my be skeptic about it, you should know that this fella is a real beast, a threat for the big boys, like the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the upcoming HTC One 2014. Curious enough? Check out what the Oppo Find 7 is about…
The main attraction of this phone is definitely the screen. With a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels on a 5.5″ display, this baby delivers a whooping density of 538 ppi, surpassing the Galaxy S5’s 432 ppi. Yeah, it’s this kind of number you get when you’re dealing with QHD!
Under the hood, we’re dealing with a Snapdragon 801 chipset, with a quad-core CPU, clocked at 2.5 GHz, Adren 330 GPU and 3 GB of RAM. The internal storage is also pretty generous, offering 32 GB of space, expandable with up to 128 more, thanks to the microSD card. The operating system is Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, customized by Oppo’s Color 1.2 UI. No KitKat for us, guys?
Next step, the camera. There have been rumors about the Find 7 rocking a 50 MP camera, which was more than amazing. Still, the phone comes with ‘just’ a 13 MP sensor and a dual-LED flash. Still, there’s a bit of truth here.
Thanks to the Super Zoom software, the phone is able to take 10 quick shots, pick the best 4 of them and put them together, resulting one big 50 MP image. We don’t have any samples of this kind of pictures yet, but I’m really curious about the quality.
The Oppo Find 7 will hit the shelves in a few months, in May or June. In China, that is, as we don’t know if this amazing phone will also make it to other countries.
