'OK Google' is everywhere! Voice commands for all Android phones

‘OK Google’ is everywhere! Voice commands for all Android phones

| On 28, Apr 2014

Google is preparing some big changes for Android!

According to the latest rumors, the search engine giant is working at some major improvements for its mobile operating system, Android. To be more specific, the ‘OK Google‘ feature may become universal across core apps.

Ok, so how will this help Android users? Apparently, they will be able to share photos or replay to their Gmail message using ‘OK Google‘ voice commands.

Even though the development is still in its early stages, it seems that it will be represented by a red lower case ‘g‘, like shown in a series of leaked images. It’s still not certain that if it’s going to be available for all Android phones or just Nexus and Google Play edition devices, but we’re eagerly waiting for more information on this topic.

It would be a nice addition to Android, but we’re not so sure about how many people will actually use it. After all, imagine yourself giving voice commands to your phone while on the bus. Some people would still look weird at you. I guess…
