LG says 'no' to Nexus 6. Will this be the end?

Even more uncertainty around the future of the Nexus brand
Let’s face it, LG did one awesome job with the two previous Nexus smartphones. Both 4 and 5 received a lot of positive feedback from users and not to mention that they sold like crazy, thanks to the more than accessible price, stock operating system and priority in receiving updates.
Considering this, everybody was expecting the Nexus 6 (or whatever they were planning to call it), featuring LG’s logo on the back. Rumors say that Google is planning to replace the Nexus line with Android Silver, but fans were still hoping to see a new stock Android phone. If you’re one of them, we have some bad news…
According to LG’s Communications Director, Mr. Ken Hong, the company won’t make the phone. But don’t start crying, as this doesn’t mean we won’t see a Nexus 6 in 2014, because other sources are claiming that Google is going to team up with HTC this time, who will apparently make a Nexus 8 tablet too.
Don’t forget that everything about this subject is based only on rumors, so until we have an official answer from Google, take everything with a pinch of salt.
