Wearables, wearables everywhere!
What, you thought that only Samsung is making wristbands? No way, LG is joining the race too, with the LifeBand Touch. Announced at CES 2014, the wellness tracker will be available in the UK, starting with the next month, as the company’s first major release for the fitness enthusiasts and not only.
The LifeBand Touch can easily sync with iOS or Android and give you information like workout stats or allow you to control your phone’s music player or deal with incoming calls, not to mention that it works very well with apps like MapMyRun, one of our personal favorites.
Moving on, LG is also preparing a pair of earphones for April. Called Heart Rate Monitor (that’s…inspired?!), the in-ear fitness buds can track the metabolic rate and oxygen consumption, displaying them on your phone running iOS or Android. Also, they can play your favorite tunes from your phone, via Bluettoth, thanks to the medallion that can be attached anywhere on your clothes. Nice!
No exact launch date, but April is very close, so stay tuned for more information about LG’s latest wearables.
