Is this the best Mini yet? Galaxy S5 Mini, leaked

Like you weren’t expecting this…
Over the years, Samsung (and other brands) used us with releasing a mini version of their flagship device shortly after the, well, big one is introduced. If last year’s model, the Galaxy S4 mini didn’t really impressed us, as it packed some mediocre specs, we expect much more from this year’s Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini.
And apparently, they’re working on a pretty nice device now. According to some sources, an official announcement is expected to be made in a few weeks or, most likely, at the beginning of May.
Already curious? What if we told you that we also have a list of possible specs? The Galaxy S5 Mini will come with a 4.5″ display, not full HD, but 720p, while under the hood it’s possible to have a quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU, 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Ok, 16, but Samsung’s bloatware requires a lot of space, so expect to have something around 12 GB for your stuff.
The back snapper is going to have a 8 MP sensor, while on the front, we’ll have a 2 MP camera. Of course, the operating system is Android 4.4 KitKat. And we’re not done. It seems that the S5 Mini will borrow the IP67 certification from it’s big brother, the Galaxy S5, meaning that it will be dust and water resistant.
If these turn out to be true, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will be a more than decent mid-range smartphone. For the moment, we can only wait to see what Samsung is preparing.
