What is Google Android Wear?

While Apple was replacing the iPad 2 with the 4th generation and introducing the 8GB version of the iPhone 5C, Google was preparing for some way bigger things! Their operating system for wearables, Android Wear, was finally released and it’s ready to be used by all the manufacturers which are looking forward to offering a pure Google experience!
Still…what’s this Android Wear after all? Basically it’s a platform which extends the company’s mobile operating system to wearable devices – smartwatches in our case. With Google Now at their core, the watches running it will be able to tell you all the information you need, based on your location and time. Make sure you don’t miss the video, in order to see exactly how it works!
The first two big names who announced smartwatches are Motorola, with the 360, and LG, with the G Watch, but we’re definitely sure that brands like HTC or Asus will also join the race. Nothing about Samsung, as their latest line, Gear, is based on the home-made Tizen.
