Galaxy Tab S, the best Samsung tablet?

An AMOLED display and 2K resolution? Yes, please!
Yeah, Samsung is planning to release a new tablet. Nothing new, you would say. Still, this one is going to be different, as the South Korean manufacturer has a whole new line up of tablets in the works.
According to some sources, the new Galaxy Tab S will come in two sizes, 8.4 inches and 10.5 inches (which are pretty atypical…) and a fingerprint scanner, just like the company’s flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5. Also, these will be the first devices in the world to come with a 2560 x 1600 AMOLED display.
Samsung has already launched devices with this resolution, but all of them were using LCD panels, so we’re really curious to see how these new panels will look like and how crisp the delivered images will be.
And you haven’t seen everything. Things are also pretty serious under the hood. Some sources are claiming that the Galaxy Tab S will rock an Exynos 5 CPU, with eight-cores – four 1.9 GHz Cortex A15 cores and four Cortex-A7 1.3 GHz – alongside 3 GB of RAM. As for the operating system, it’s going to be based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
As you can see, everything sounds very good about this tablet and we’re eagerly waiting to see what it can really do. Stay tuned on our blog for more on this subject!
