Cheers to that - Champagne Gold Xiaomi Mi 3 to celebrate 10 million shipped units!

Ever wondered how much units a Chinese manufacturer can sell?
Remember the Mi 3, the Chinese smartphone made by Xiaomi who sold incredibly fast even from the first minutes after it was launched? Well, you should, because, despite the name, you get some serious processing power for just $240.
And by serious power we mean, a 5″ display and a 1.8 GHZ NVIDIA Tegra 4 CPU, alongside 2 GB of RAM, up to 64 GB of storage, a 13 MP camera and a huge 3050 mAh battery, all in a 8.1 mm case. Interesting? We’d say yes.
Since it’s launch, in September 2013, the manufacturer has already shipped 10 million units, in countries like China, Singapore, Malaysia or the Philippines, meaning that a celebration is in order. After reaching this milestone, Xiaomi decided to launch a special version of the device, featuring a Champagne Gold body.
The Golden Xiaomi Mi 3 is available for the same price, $240, but it only comes with 16 GB of storage. But hey, there’s always the cloud option!
What do you think about this Chinese smartphone? We’d definitely give it a chance.
