Big phone on a budget - Sony Xperia T3

Is 5.3″ still considered a phablet-size?
Sony just introduced a new member to their family. A big one, that is. Called Xperia T3, the 5.3-inch handset is aiming for the mid-range class, but will it actually be a success? Let’s find out more details about him.
Even though Sony claims that the TRILUMINOUS display is one of T3’s main attractions, we’re dealing just with a 1280 x 720 resolution and a density of 277 pixels per inch, which doesn’t seem that great after all. However, it compensates through the build quality, with a stainless steel frame surrounding it.
With a 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon and 1 GB of RAM, the Xperia T3 is far from being a top-notch device, but like we said, it’s a mid-ranger after all. On the back, there’s a 8 MP camera, with the Exmor RS technology, paired with a 1.1 MP front snapper, able to record 1080p videos.
There’s just 8 GB of internal storage, but thankfully, we can expand this, thanks to the microSD card slot. Last but not least, the phone is running the latest Android version, 4.4.2 KitKat.
Overall, it doesn’t seem that bad, but we’re waiting for the price, to see if the Sony Xperia T3 is a good deal after all.
